Often we return from the West, crossing
the Nullarbor. Another great experience. We leave Perth, going south to Margaret
River, Bunbury, Albany, Stirling Ranges, Esperance, Cape Le Grand, Cape Arid
Nat. Park, then heading north, cross the Eyre Highway at Balladonia and continue
north to the Transcontinental Railway Line ( Indian Pacific ). We follow the
railway line for a day or two then after returning to the Eyre Highway we
drive to the Head of the Bight, and during the season and if lucky we can
watch the Southern Right Whale. We leave the Highway to camp at Streaky Bay
and to observe Sea Lions at Point Labatt.
