Aboriginal painting along the
Canning Stock Route. One of many,
some of which are not all that easy to find. There are different
styles of
paintings, indicating that the area has been inhabited for a
long time and
by different clans.
The Canning Stock Route was established during the early years
of this century for the
purpose of driving stock from the Kimberley to Kalgoorlie and Perth.
51 wells were sunk and produced water for the herds, but only a few
of them produced
water fit for human consumption.
Today only three or four of them contain good water.
Aboriginal art of varying styles and ages can be found by observant
travellers. The Aborigines were
able to find water in this inhospitable landscape at a few permanent
waterholes and native soaks and
inhabited the area for thousands of years.
Australian Red Centre Adventures operate tours
to all areas of Australia. Our tours are camping and
safari type tours. Our Canning Stock Route
Tour takes you to the "Last Frontier". This is where we see
the largest herds of camels. Although in recent years traffic on the
CSR has increased considerably, we still
often see no other vehicle for several days. When we see other vehicles
it's usually convoys as only few
Outback Travellers are either experienced enough or foolish enough
to tackle this route on their own.
Most of our safaris include the Red Centre,
Ayers Rock and Alice Springs.
Tours to the Red Centre, Simpson Desert, Great
Ocean Road, Flinders Ranges, Grampians, Barossa
Valley,
the Kimberley and the Bungle Bungle. Many tours
include Kakadu, Darwin, Kununurra, the Gibb River
Road, the Mitchell Plateau
and the Mitchell Falls.
Our Red Centre tours always include Uluru, Ayers
Rock, Uluru, Yulara, Alice Springs, Palm Valley
and the
MacDonnell Ranges.
We visit Albert Namatjira's gallery at Hermannsburg
and camp at Kings Canyon.
Tours to WA include Geikie Gorge, the Hamersley
Ranges, the Pilbara, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia,
the Pinnacles,
Kalgoorlie and Perth.
We return from the West through the Nullarbor.
The Opal Fields of Coober Pedy and Andamooka
are usually on our itinerary.
We can take you through the Simpson Desert for
much less than other operators. We only take small groups
and arrange private
tours.

Hier vergessen Sie alles das nicht zum Leben
notwendig ist. Wir zeigen Euch das rote Centrum Australiens."
