The Gunbarrel Highway.  This track was surveyed and build by the   legendary Len Beadell RIP, for the Woomera Space program during the   late 50's. The corrugations, gravel, sand and wash-outs tax any vehicle.   Many arrived at the other end with springs, shock absorbers and roof racks  ready for the scrap heap. After rain the wild flowers are prolific.
