Mike's Australian Outback Experience Guarantee!
Nobody can guarantee the co-operation of the weather and our wildlife.

I will propose tours to you that will give you the best possible experiences within the constraints of your travel dates and the time available to you.

Depending on the season we will see various kinds of Lizards,
possibly some snakes and a large number of different and some rare birds.
Often we also see Dingoes, wild Camels and Brumbies and of course there is the flora, spectacular Sturt Desert Pea and Desert Rose are just a couple of them.
Of course we will stop so that you can capture them on film.
Exactly what we'll see will depend to a large extent on the season,
the weather and the areas we visit.

What I personally guarantee is the following:
If you don't see Koalas, Kangaroos and Emus in considerable numbers and in their natural habitat on tours that include the Great Ocean Road and Flinders Ranges
then I will happily refund you one days portion of your tour price.
However, the GOR and the Flinders Ranges are not the only areas where we'll
see wildlife.
But that's not all!
You will love my Fillet of Beef and my Leg of Lamb, roasted to perfection
in the campoven.

Although we have taken just single travellers on tours it is quite expensive and we generally
require at least two participants on any tour.
Our best per person prices for most of our tours are possible when there are four participants on our tours, better still if it is a round trip, starting and finishing in Melbourne.

We are a small business ( we like it that way ) and unfortunately we often have to turn customers away when their travelling dates are fixed and we are already committed for those dates.
It is not rare for our customers to book tours over 12 months in advance.
To avoid disappointment it is advisable to contact us early.

Our General Terms and Conditions apply to all tours booked from our web pages.

Revision Jan. 2002. © Mike Hofmann, 1998 -2002

Australian Red Centre Adventures is a small family business, operating since 1996.
With us you are not just a number! Mike, the owner, driver and guide has been travelling
throughout Australia for nearly 40 years, including the most remote areas of the continent.
His customers are not pax2 or pax20 etc., but participants on his adventures and he loves to
show off "His Backyard".
Mikes decision in 1998 to entirely promote his tours over the internet was prompted
by the fact that printed material, such as brochures and print media advertising was very
expensive and not very productive.
Just think how many glossy brochures you have collected over the years,
only to drop them into the trash can?
What a waste of resources, mainly paper - read precious trees!!!
Hi, I'm not a 'greenie' but I do believe in conserving and protecting our environment.
I have seen too much destruction over the years - even in remote areas.

The profile of my tour participants:
They love nature.
Can't stand travelling on buses with 40 or more other people.
Travel at a relaxed pace with time for observations, photos, personal 'time out'.
Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
Forget about the phone, even take off their watches.
Seek experiences rather than just seeing the most in the shortest possible time.
Come to Australia with an open mind and without preconceived ideas.

What if things are against us?
Rain, Storms, closed 4WD tracks?
We take it as it comes and make the best of the situation.
After all, there is nothing you or I can do to change nature.
As Slim Dusty says in one of his songs:
"You got to drink the froth to get the beer".....
