A small selection of 4WD tours by
Australian Red Centre Adventures.

Dein Australien Erlebniss, Your Australian Experience. 4WD Camping and Tag Along Tours

Australian Tag Along Tours Many tours can be fully customised for couples, Families
and small groups.
Your guide and driver is Mike Hofmann who in 1960
choose Australia as his home and has travelled throughout
the Outback and Deserts ever since.
There are not many who know the Outback as well as he
does and he loves to show visitors "His Backyard".

A Travelogue for this tour is here:

Mike has refined many tour itineraries but is constantly revising them according to
changing circumstances and conditions. He is only too happy to plan your very own
personal itinerary with you or your group.

Generally our tour vehicle is an air-conditioned 4WD that enables us to explore areas
Off The Beaten Track in safety and comfort.
For larger groups and Special Interest Groups we may travel in a Minibus.
You will travel through many areas, far from the throng of mass tourism with it's regimented
itineraries and tight schedules. At times the facilities in such areas maybe very basic and changing
conditions require flexibility, including changes at short notice.
Mike enjoys showing you his favourite places and especially with Custom Tours he can be very
flexible to assure you unforgettable experiences.
At least once per year Mike leads a 4WD Tag Along Tour or 4WD Expedition.
We have a private forum where we discuss our Australian 4x4 Tag Along Tours and Expeditions
and where the participants of those Tag Along Tours get to know each other.
Click here for some general Information about Tag Along Tours.

Mike guarantees you 'close encounters' with Koalas, Kangaroos and Emus in their natural habitat
and at close range. On most tours you will also see Dingoes, Wild Camel, many different Lizards,
Raptors like the Wedge Tailed Eagle, Kites, Hawks and Falcons and of course many Parrots,
Cockatoos, Lorrikeets, Honey eaters, Kingfisher, Wrens and more.
A Dingo encountered on our Simpson Desert Tag Along Tour You will not only see the countries vastness and
unspoiled nature, Outback and Deserts but you'll
experience it all in the intimacy of a small group.
About 60% of Mike's tour participants are aged
from 40 to 63 with the oldest in 2003 being 73 years
of age.

Groups of Seniors, even if it's just four of you please contact Mike and find
out what he can plan for or with you.

For the people a little more adventurous there are also our Tag Along Tours.
( The oldest participants in the past were 72 years of age! )
Generally those are 4WD Tours like our East-West Expedition and our Canning Stock Route trips,
but others can be arranged given sufficient notice and provided there are at least 5 participating vehicles.
