Scheduled Tours and Tour Suggestions
for 2008
|
| At present this schedule is
still somewhat flexible and subject to changes. If you wish for as tour that is not listed or one of the listed tours at a different date then please let us know as early as possible. We always try to accommodates any request for Private or Custom Tours and if reserved early enough we will schedule our other tours accordingly. Once we have taken reservations for any tour we will loose much of that flexibility. |
| The majority
of our tours are planned individually and all are guided by Mike Hofmann
personally. Because of that we don't have regular departure dates like
you would expect from Coach Tours or Backpacker tours.
That is why we ask you to contact us very early. |

|
| Notes for passengers in our
vehicle: There will generally be 2 - 4 days between the end of one tour and the start of the next tour. For passengers who take consecutive tours we also provide the accommodation for one of the rest days if so desired. We don't include accommodation for all rest days as we feel that many participants will most likely want to take part in various locally offered activities and excursions. For our passengers we also include between 2 and 3 nights accommodation during the tour. On most tours we tow a trailer for camping equipment, luggage and supplies. However luggage should be kept to a minimum as there will be some tours and sections of others where we won't be able to tow a trailer. Passenger prices are all inclusive and all camping equipment is supplied. Most meals are also supplied with just a few exceptions as indicated in the itineraries. Notes for Tag Along Participants: Tag Along prices are self catering. Nat. Park Fees are included in the price for all participants. Rest days ( days between sections ) are the responsibility of the participants. Indenting Tag Along participants please read our general Tag Along Info: http://www.redcentre.com.au/4X4/TagAlongFAQ.htm |
| This schedule has been designed
in modules with those people in mind who wish to spend more time in
our outback and have the time to participate on consecutive tours. Participants who wish to take consecutive tours with a total of 31 tour days or more ( not including Rest days )will benefit from a discount. Please ask us for details. |
| Applications for all those
tours can be taken from June 15th 2007. The above tour schedule maybe reviewed to accommodate private and custom tours and may then be adjusted accordingly. However once we have taken deposits from participants on those tours then any change to the dates will only be possible with their consent. Once the schedule is confirmed we will ask all applicants who have not already made a deposit to do so then. Tours can only be considered booked once we received the tour deposits. The prices for those tours are still under consideration and it is not expected that they will increase much above our 2007 prices. Please ask us for current prices once you have selected a tour. |
| I must point out that as with
all remote area travel we are always at the mercy of the elements
and changes to itineraries, routes and destinations along our routes
maybe necessary at short notice. There will also be nights when we
bushcamp where at times no facilities are available. Remember, you will be on an Adventure Tour, not a Resort Holiday! There will be experiences rather than sight seeing. |
| Anybody seriously interested
in any of the above tours should contact us as early
as possible as participant numbers will be strictly limited.
I'll then get itineraries and price details to you. When contacting us please give us as much information as possible ( Tour/tours interested in, number of people, your preferred tour dates and if Tag Along vehicle participant or passenger, your ages, any disabilities or medical conditions. If Tag Along participant also the Make & Model of your car or if a rented car is required ). Take care "Out There", Mike
