2008 Tours
Many of our 2007 tours will be repeated
in 2008. There most likely will also again be some 4WD Tag Along Tours like a Cape York Trip, a Canning Stock Route trip, an East-West Crossing and Simpson Desert Crossings. No dates have yet been finalised. If you are planning for an Outback Tour during
2008 then please let us know as early as possible.
This is especially important if you can not be flexible with your travel dates! We can then work with you and often plan other tours 'around' your dates. You can be assured that your tour will be our priority once we have taken your reservation. Again, please contact us early because as I run every tour personally, it is impossible for me to run different tours at the same time. Being able to plan early there is also a much
better chance for me to find additional participants to fill all 4 seats.
That then greatly reduces the tour price for you.

| Notes for passengers in our vehicle:
Each of those tours finishes with one nights accommodation ( twin share ). For passengers who take consecutive tours we also provide the accommodation for one of the rest days if so desired. We don't include accommodation for all rest days as we feel that many participants will most likely want to take part in various locally offered activities and excursions. For our passengers we also include at least one additional nights accommodation along the way. (NT) indicates that it is not possible for us to tow a trailer on that trip. For this reason luggage must then be kept to a minimum and that we therefore at times also can only carry 2 passengers on those tours. Passenger prices are all inclusive and all camping equipment is supplied. Most meals are also supplied with just a few exceptions as indicated in the itineraries. Notes for Tag Along Participants: Tag Along prices are self catering. Nat. Park Fees are included in the price for all participants. Rest days ( days between sections ) are the responsibility of the participants. Indenting Tag Along participants please read our general Tag Along Info: http://www.redcentre.com.au/4X4/TagAlongFAQ.htm |
| This schedule has been designed
in modules with those people in mind who wish to spend more time in
our outback and have the time to do so. However it also caters for people who only wish to take part in a shorter tour. Participants who wish to take consecutive tours with a total of 30 tour days ( not including Rest days ) or more will benefit from a discount. |
| Applications for all those tours
can be taken from Feb. 15th 2006. The above tour schedule will be reviewed on Oct. 1st 2006 and may then be adjusted by a few days. However once we have taken deposits from participants on those tours then any change to the dates will only be possible with their consent. Once confirmed we will ask all applicants who have not already made a deposit for their deposit. The prices for those tours are still under consideration and it is not expected that they will increase above our 2006 prices by more than fuel price increases and other major cost increases. Please ask us for current prices once you have selected a tour. For reservations 12 months or more in advance our current prices are guaranteed. |
| I must point out that as with all
remote area travel we are always at the mercy of the elements and changes
to itineraries, routes and destinations along our routes maybe necessary
at short notice. There will also be nights when we bushcamp where at
times no facilities are available. Remember, you will be on an Adventure Tour, not a Resort Holiday! There will be experiences rather than sight seeing. |
| Anybody seriously interested
in any of the above tours should contact us as early as
possible as participant numbers will be strictly limited. I'll then get itineraries and price details to you. When contacting us please give us as much information as possible ( Tour/tours interested in, number of people, if as Tag Along vehicle or passenger, your ages, any disabilities or medical conditions and prefered tour dates. If Tag Along participants then please also Make & Model of car or if a rented car is required. Take care "Out There", Mike
